An idea is like a seed. It has all the potential in the world, but none until you plant it.

About 5 years ago, I was working a sales position that required no creativity (or so I thought), so I looked up a guy who wrote a few books on being creative and asked him how to get a job as an "idea guy" or creative professional. I was a clueless college graduate at the time, but I never forgot his response:

"No matter what you think or believe, it's of no consequence. The only consequences in life come from what you do."                                              - Some Creative Guy I Emailed

This really resonated with me. You see, I've had ideas my whole life, but I never really acted on most of them. I half-assed a few, but the large majority just stayed ideas. Simple thoughts flirting with all my hopes and dreams of what they could one day become.

I got tired of only talking about ideas. I wanted to create and bring ideas to life. Share them with others. So I did.

I've been working as a copywriter for the last few years and ROCKSTAR is my debut personal creative work. I put a lot of early mornings and late nights into this book, and I sincerely hope it brings you and your loved ones as much joy as it brought me in making it.

That said, I think we all have great ideas, but sometimes we're scared to act on them. We make up reasons why we can't or shouldn't, when really we're just scared of ourselves. That we're capable beyond our wildest dreams. And we are. You are.

Ideas make the world a better place. And that million dollar idea is worthless as long as it stays in your head. So get out there, and don't be scared to plant your seeds.
